Craniofacial

Although uncommon, conditions causing the premature fusion of the skull or a number of other facial bones may result in significant concerns from a neurological development aspect, raised intra-cranial pressure, significant respiratory concerns and resulting skull and facial deformity.

Depending on the condition, these patients are often treated in a multi-discinplinary unit.

Dr Robertson, prior to returning to Brisbane, was responsible for running one of the busiest tertiary craniofacial units in the world – at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, UK. He has a significant expertise in diagnosing and managing all forms of complex skull and facial deformities.
